Not as good as it should have been! Arse Gravy!

Nothing more than loose stool water. As a swansong for the 'On The Buses' franchise, it's obvious here that a dead horse was being flogged - no Arthur and no Stan! Imagine 'Dallas' with no JR and no Cliff Barnes! So no Olive/Arthur sub-plot; no Mum/Arthur sub-plot; no Stan/Arthur sub-plot and most importantly of all - no Stan and Jack together! As for Blakey 'conveniently' becoming a lodger in the Butler household [SNORT!] Stop at series 6 and remember On The Buses as it should have been. Keep your money in your arse pocket and buy a 'Man About The House' dvd instead. Arse Gravy at it's most obvious and desperate.Read full review...

A classic comedy that will not date to me....

I love On the Buses, it brings back so many wonderful childhood memories, I have been working overseas for a long time,so when I came back, I wanted us as a family to watch the series again, this series no longer as Arthur or Stan in it, it loses its old magic, but for a true fan of the series, it is the closure to a wonderful, clean show that everyone could watch together. LOVE IT! More than ever, we need something to recapture the happy times in our childhood when it always seem like summer...Read full review...

on the buses, seventh serios.

i loved this show and its actors,no swearing or any violence.it was comedy above any other show by a country mile, its a shame in later years the cast did not become legendary because they deserved awards for the true joy they brought to the world.ive never seen the seventh until now and it was the iceing on the cake, well done to the writers they were fantastic. the quality of this dvd was first class and i will watch it over and over again, there are a lot of hours to watch but they sail by and so good to have so much on one disc.lastly i was so saddened when bob grant took his own life, such a waste of a british talent.

Great!!

Highly amusing series to watch AND work on. I was the senior videotape editor for most of them and enjoyed all of it. Started at LWT in Wembley and it moved through 3 main studios ending at the Thames River!!! Great! Sadly, most of the stars have passed away and there is nothing of its basic humour on UK TV any more. Oh well, must get the discs out!!Read full review...
