Many of the story writers don't seem to understand the difference between Agnostic and Atheist

I know I'm not the only atheist in AA. but many of the stories confuse the words Atheist and Agnostic.
Most of the stories in "One Big Tent" it's authors appear to confuse the two words; Atheist as one who say's "there's no god", and Agnostic as One who does not believe but still isn't sure. Just as described in the 12 and 12 on page 28, when it's author Bill W who also doesn't seem to understand the difference between the two words either "Religion says the existence of god can be proved; The agnostic says God can't be proved; and the Atheist claim proof of the nonexistence of god"
The fact is Gnosticism means without knowledge; Theist is belief in some sort of supernatural, The letter "A" in front of some words means Without. IE; Atheist Without belief; Agnostic without knowledge
