One Fast Move or I'm Gone

I listen to alot of music and Jay Farrar and Benjamin Gibbard are highly respected and very talented musicians I feel that this CD will be rare one day because of the music industrie's standard of music.
This accustic bass country singer song writer kind of music reverts to the type of mind set that so manny people can relate to.
Unfortunatly we don't hear enough of this kind of music on the radio today.
I have read Kerouac's books and I was interested in what Farrar and Gibbard would sound like together with Kerouac's Big Sur as the focal point.
I was more then satisfied with what I heard once I recieved my CD.
I only hope that Jay and Benjamin can get together and write another CD for all of us.
It gives me plesure to listen to this CD and I am sure to anyone else who loves well written music from the heart.

Low Life Kingdom

More in the Alternative Country vein of Neil Young and Frank Black than the alternative rock you might expect from Death Cab's front man. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this album. I went into it not expecting much and ended up not being able to take it out of my CD player for several days. That doesn't happen very often. 4 Stars.Read full review...

Farrar & Gibbard

Some great songs and a thoughtful effort in writing these songs with the words of Jack Kerouac. Very underrated.
