Optimyst transducer
I purchased the transducer in April, 12 weeks later it stopped working, I was sent a new one only for it to fail 4 months later. As there is only 6 months warranty on these items I was told I was not entitled to a new one as the warranty had expired because the original was purchased in April. Not physically identical, but a direct drop-in replacement
The transducer in our Dimplex went alarmingly quickly, so I bought this as the cheapest replacement. It doesn't have a small locating lug that was on the original, so you need to be slightly more careful when placing it in the tray. Only good for 3 months
Ordered this copy part due to the good feedback from other buyers. I fitted it to the fire and it worked fine for 3 months with the flame effect being on every night around 4 to 5 hours. Now it has stared to work intermittently turning the effect on and off! I have just ordered the genuine part from Dimplex as the original worked for 2 years before it need replacing so worth the extra £14.Read full review...

Fantastic to find this replacement part for my Optimyst fire . I was so sad when the fan heater would not work as the misting unit had stopped working in the log effect fire. After a search on line for reasons why I found a reference to this part .
