actually exceeded my expectations.

easy to install, easy to program even without reading the manual. Can operate 6 zones which i wasnt aware of....i thought it would just be one valve. I love have the time where I WANT IT without having to run electrical service out into the yard. Cannot accept a rain sensor even though there is a spot for it on the back of the timer, Orbit says they never developed the product so it cant be added. I loved it so much i got another one. If I had any concerns it would be that the attachment to the valve is via this flimsy plastic clip, in my situation it would have been easier to mount the timer to a hard surface but if you are just tossing this in a valve box you will think its just great. I was up and running in no time. The battery has lasted all season so far and thats all i could ask of it. Read full review

Almost water proof

This product is used in place of a timed siphon for sprinklers no wires needed.
It works well and is almost water proof. It lasts maybe 1.5 years or so before it get wet enough to short out. I wish it would last longer so I have bagged it as much as possible to see if that helps. I have had 3 fail in the past 4.5 years.Read full review

Orbit Master 57860 Instructions lacking

Excellent timer and valve and appears to be very waterproof. Instruction manual is sketchy at best once you connect more than 1 zone. Having problem getting the second zone to turn on following the first zone watering correctly. Company help line and internet equally difficult to navigate.Read full review
