After reading the reviews, I ordered this. I am not disappointed, but still have a few wishes. As mentioned in reviews, I wish it had the adjustment turn handle. Instead, it has a little wrench which will probably get lost. Also, after using it, the 1/2 hp motor also got very hot. I was hoping the 1/2 hp wouldn't do that. I am a bit worried about that as far as life of the motor. Overall, glad I have it as it provides a quick turn around on my blades. Sharp blades are mandatory when mowing. I change mine, and sharpen them, almost every 8 hours of mowing. For a healthy lawn, you should never use a dull blade. Read full review

better product and also has the reverse switch....The Oregon 1/2 hp sharpener it is worth spending the extra cash if you have multiple blades to sharpen, dosnt come with a bulb for the light but since item weighs almost 60lbs it's understandable cause it would be broken in shipping.. but that's the only con making it a 10 in my bookRead full review

Underwhelming.

Underperforming for the money. Apparently hundreds of dollars is not good enough, you need to spend a thousand I guess. Does eventually get the blades tuned up, averaging about 45 minutes for 3.. Spending wayyy too much valuable time sharpening blades. Definitely a let down. Read full review
