Do you love your expensive timber cladding? Osmo Oil it is!!
Already reviewed this product but here goes; again! 3 years ago, I had a garden studio erected which cost me a fortune. Basically, a 'posh' shed. Clad in very expensive Canadian Cedar. 3 coats of Osmo oil later and 3 years, studio looks fantastic. This product prevents fading in the sunlight of the timber and totally waterproofs it. Do insects/mould/spiders like it? The answer is no, they do not. They give your expensive cladding a very wide berth! Wife's garden studio still looks as new. In order to apply, just wash down the cladding with water and wait until dry. Apply in warm (not hot) weather with a brush and a small roller. Protection with 4 coats probably protects for 8-10 years? Absolutely waterproofs the timber cladding. Only downside; the very high cost of Osmo Oil. Horrendously expensive but well worth the cost and effort.Read full review

Good product, easy to apply good finish but watch south facing woodwork
So easy to apply. The labels say won't flake etc but I have been disappointed with it on South facing brand new woodwork. It fades and flakes even though applied correctly. It gives a lovely finish to natural wood. Good variety of colours etc even though I actually only used the "Clear" versionRead full review

Excellent Wood Protection
I have been using this product for around eight years and it keeps the original wood colour intact and at the same time protects from UV rays and the wet weather.
Having just constructed a Scandinavian log cabin I recently purchased more Osmo and treated the whole of the exterior to maintain the natural pine effect.
This coating I know will last for at least six years judging by my past experience.Read full review

Cedar Summerhouse Treatment
Arrived very quickly even with the affects of lockdown.
I have presently given a cedar summerhouse just one coat and it has brought out the richness of the original colour. Very easy to apply so when the weather and time permits I will apply a second coat which is what's recommended on the tin, then only time will tell of its longevity before future treatment is necessary.Read full review

High quality, but also high price.
Good stuff, recommend to me by a building professional, applies well and a good finish. Not cheap, but it was only 2% of the cost of the garden building I put it on, so if it works well, good value.Read full review

Really good Osmo product
Easy to apply - you can work it into the grain really well. Excellent coverage - I have Osmo'd a large garden table, a small table and 6 chairs, some with two coats only using about half of the tin!
