Best door oil to keep oak colour natural.

Keeps oak natural,so does not darken oak or colour it,can reapply with out sanding.Very easy to apply, better than an other known brand which i used because you need to apply a hard wax oil on top of the natural hard wax oil, which my oak door changed colour to slightly orange colour, osmo door oil raw does not brilliant stuff.Read full review...

Great stuff but very expensive.

This stuff is great! I used it on Oak veneer doors and it gave them a lovely deep sheen with an amazing colour. It does smell a bit so you need plenty of ventilation, and it does take a long time to dry, but I’m very happy with the finish. The biggest downside is the price, £30 a litre!! Read full review...

Top product, highly recomended!!

Great product to enhance colour of natural oak.

Applied to 7 doors oak vaneer doors and the finish is quality, applied with a brush and went on well, can take up to 24 hours to dry as per the instructions on tin.

Would defintley use again and not use anything other than Osmo oil again.

Very good quality but £30 a Tin not cheap

Bought this for my 4 new doors it went on a great but do not try and put it on to thick as it will run so I did 4 doors each door had one coat then two further doors had a 2nd coat and it was all gone so had to buy a 2nd tin so £60 to do my 4 doors not bad because if you buy the doors pre finished it’s £50 a door so weigh that up with £60 it’s a saving of £140 so worth it if you are on a budget like I was hope this helps people Read full review...

Quality Finish

Used on five new oak internal doors. Takes time to apply thin coat with a brush. 1 litre tin covered all doors with two coats. I lightly sanded between coats with a sponge fine sanding pad. The satin finish really enhances the grain and colour of the wood. Does take 24 hours to dry fully. Not cheap but then no point in saving a few pounds given the cost of the oak doors. Highly delighted with this product.Read full review...

The BEST door finish.

Best finish there is for doors. It is costly but it is worth every penny. I've got doors that have been in use for 5 years and they look as good as the day I did them. Pay the money, do the job once.

Very easy to use

Great product, 2 coats applied with a lint free cloth gives a nice even satin finish. Used 1.5 litres to do 12 oak interior doors.

brings out the hidden beauty of the wood .

so easy to apply and fast ,did my oak doors which i havnt touched for few years decided i needed to seal them as i been decorating so done doors and frames.i looked online for suitable product and osmo door oil had good reviews so i decided to order a litre can.
i did first door applying with a lint free rag went on great but i did other 3 with brush which was much faster it recommends using 2 coats but as i give them a good first coat and sealed in in well even all over i think one coat should suffice they look absolutely stunning and have transformed the look .osmo oil definatley brings the grain of the wood out and brings the beauty of the oak alive. i would highly reccomend this product, its not cheap but worth every penny .

Excellent product

Excellent product. Applied using soft brush. The consistency is about the same as paint stripper, and so goes on really nicely. Best to do 2 thin coats, which will slightly darken the wood. perfect satin FinishRead full review...
