Air bubbles & mess

Puts a LOT of air bubbles into the substrate of you use it in an aquarium (once capsule dissolves). If you vacuum decently (more than just hovering it above the substrate), or have any digging aquatic creatures, the little fertilizer beads eventually work their way up & create an ugly mess of the substrate, laying there all over the place. Will they eventually dissolve? Eventually. Quite eventually. My plants have done waaay better not using these at all.Read full review

Plants coming back

Need to feed plants ,some at the root some from the water itself. They help with fish waste to remove ammonia and keep nitrates low.I am trying small pots with deep sand bed to add soil under sand rather than a dirted substrate.Some fish and snails eat plants but finally mine are recovering .Read full review

Great Product!

So far I'm really liking the product! I underestimated the size of the capsules, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how big they are! A few of them could have probably been filled a little better, but overall they contain a good amount of osmocote.

I haven't seen a huge difference in the growth of my plants, but I'm looking into the possibility of something else limiting growth, such as light intensity.

Dosing my tank with these has not had any adverse effects on my fish, either, which was something I was afraid of. I'll most likely be ordering more when I run out!!Read full review
