A rather disappointing iron
Controls are very stiff as is the cord which gets I the way whilst ironing. Heats up quickly and the steam controls are the best feature. Almost impossible to see how full the water reservoir is. Not too keen on the sole plate. Read full review...

Soleplate soon makes ironing difficult
This is all the above bit the creamic soleplate soon gets marked and us very difficult to remove do foes not make ironing clothes easy
In fact I have now purchased a steel soleplate steam iron elsewhere and have no problem with this

My wife tells me that, over all, this is an excellent iron. Her only criticism is a general one and applies to all modern irons, that is they do not get as hot as the old irons. I suppose it is viewed that a super hot iron is rarely required since linen and pure cotton is not used so much. We were both raised in an era when flat irons were heated on a gas hob or a range.
