Heavyweight that gives confidence .
Minor niggles:
Alarm is prone to go off without movement. The only explanation I can think of for this is that there could have been expansion and contraction of the lock when in direct sunlight, but whatever the reason, it’s a bit annoying.
Not enough alarm delay when trying to place or remove the lock from either the disc or chain. You have to put your thumb over the alarm port while trying to get the key in.
The key feels like it could bend with the lightest force and is in my opinion, the weakest part of the product.

Good alarm, good visual .Bit finicky to use
Good product, visual deterrent ,good value. Bad points. To easy to set alarm off when setting, key awkward to insert which sets the alarm off .gets easier the more you use it

Good lock simple to use, options to lock without alarm engaged.
Great lock mechanism and option to set between alarmed or inactive, a little quieter than expected (but not quiet) loud enough to hear indoors and down the street.
Certainly worth it between £50-£60 in my opinion and can always be used to alarm a chain lock by locking a chain with it.
Had mine just over a week and am happy with it if it continues to perform as is.Read full review

Oxford boss lock
Nice big lock fits nice in to your wheel disc, Nice big and bright so everyone can see its not going anywhere fast. You can also use the lock on a chain if your out with your mate to lock all the bikes together or to a postRead full review

Good but definitely worth getting a better chain
The lock itself is incredibly strong and loud as sh1t when it goes off but the chain can be cut through with a grinder in about 40 seconds so worth getting a good quality one. Still deters theives and lowers the chance of theft greatly. Read full review

great item
Great item easy to use and easily transferable between machines, if necessary, so that whichever one is in use it is protected.

Sleep easier
This is an excellent product, chunkier and heavier than I was expecting yet ideal dimensions for 'double locking' your bike with a chain (10mm square link) as the shackle fits through the link with your existing lock. Insurance companies like it too! Alarm has enough Db to alert you to tampering without upsetting the neighbours. The sensetivity is just right too, gives a little warning before going off.(gives key holder time to unlock it) Can be used without alarm if you want.Read full review

Good product at a good price.
Having used two Xena alarms over the last ten years, or so... I fancied a change and, while the Oxford Boss is a monster, I am impressed by its presence. The Oxford Boss is, at first, more awkward and not easy to use one-handed but now I'm used to its size, etc, it is a permanent companion to the bike.Read full review

Alarm is useless
You can literally hold you’re hand over the speaker and silence the alarm, I don’t even bother using the alarm anymore it’s that pointless
