Sturdy quality product at a great price.
Bought this light for my elderly Mother to use as a 'reading light' for when she is in bed. Very sturdy and stable - a must for safety - and very easily put together. The light is easily postioned by the side of the bed, however we could have done with a slighty longer wire as the plugs were not close to the bed.This was easily remedied by moving bed slightly closer to plug sockets in wall. The 'on and off' switch is just below the lamp and very easily reached by my Mother when she is laying in bed and the beam of light is also easily directed onto her books exactly where she wants it; The light produced is very bright and makes the print on her books easier to read with less eye strain. Overall an excellent product and does the job admirably for what I bought it for - I think it would make a great light for crafters, hobbyists,doing jigsaws and any job which needs good lighting.Read full review...

Lightweight sturdy day light lamp
I bought this lamp for my 80 year mother who was struggling to read at night with the usual lounge lamps/lights. Her optician had advised she only needed better light to read and not new spectacles. <br>This lamp is ideal.
It was packaged really well. It was easy to put together; there are easy to follow instructions with the lamp and any sensible person could do it.

Wonderfully bright & extremely useful lamp. Just the thing for all the reading & craftwork that I like to do WITHOUT straining my eyes to see, and I would recommened this to everyone! The bendy 'arm' means I can move the light for maximum lighting. The ONLY flaw I found is that it would have been nice to have an option for using half the brightness for when I don't need so much light, but even without this option it still is a wonderful lamp. ;)
