Normally, try not to leave negative reviews and hopefully this as seen more as constructive feedback to the company. Firstly don't buy if you don't have a great deal of clearance on your roof bars. I have a qashqai and the roof cross bars i bought only allowed about 5cm of clearance. This meant the plastic wheel for tightening just made it. As the roof is curved some are closer than others and I expect to see circular scratches when i remove. Secondly why not have the nuts moulded into the plastic??? The number of times the nut fell out on the roof after lining everything up was maddening. I resorted eventually to stuffing a bit of paper in the hole to try and hold the nut in place. It could have been made so much easier. I might end up just buying some new bolts and wingnuts as it was a major pain! Once it was mounted to the roofrack the bikes went on easily enough and seemed to hold everything in place well but do tighten the support clamp as it came with the nuts and bolts hanging on with a thread. Overall, it does the job and for the money, once it's on it seems very secure but don't expect Thule for £30. I always wondered why they were so expensive, now I know.Read full review...

Cheap and ok for what we want.

We bought this cycle rack for putting one bike on it in the garage of our motorhome. It doesn't look very substantial if you wanted to put it on the roof of your car.
