Only good value if you are prepared to work on it.

If this cold frame is to e used as a freestanding unit (i.e. not fixed to a wall or whatever) then it needs considerable bracing because it is too unstable. As well as various reinforcements to corners and a wooden cross brace to the back, I made a wooden floor out of some 16mm matching
and fixed it to that. Not perfect but is now more usable and fit for purpose. It is good value if you are able and willing to fiddle about with it but otherwise not brilliant. Read full review...

Aweful but cheap

It is cheap but it is not good value for money because it is damaged like mine or missing parts, doors were damaged and wood split, misalignments everywhere with no instructions. The locks/ latches were missing and only had one unlike in the picture so had to take it off and flip it horizontally making it reach across to the other doors latch so it can lock, it is really flimsy and gave me a splinter due to the poor finish but you get what you pay for and it will do the job because all I’m using it for will be to grow tomatoes or strawberries for the kids.Read full review...

Flimsy

Firstly, the cabinet was 100mm shallower than advertised.
It needs to be anchored down as it is very light. I actually fixed it to the fence and use it as a lean to.
When assembling, I had to drill a couple of new holes because the screws clashed with those already in the frame.Read full review...
