Strong lie angle
These clubs have the best feeling to hold but they're quite lightweight and their lie angle is strong. As a result, these clubs are much more sensitive to a slightly bad swing than your common standard beginner /intermediate clubs which have less lie angle and a little more weight for distance. Ping Eye 2 Orange Dot Irons
I'm old, they're old we make a good fit. I should have had these clubs years ago but had a nice set of Hagen muscle backs. They weren't easy to hit but I was young and strong. I'm sure the new pings are improved over the old ping eyes, but I think these older clubs will work well for amateur golfers. The ball flies off the face quickly and has a nice high arc.Read full review

These are an iconic club design.
I prefer to buy older, quality brand clubs. After I install new grips
they are like a new set of clubs at a fraction of the cost.

Still great after all these years
Newer irons are "longer" because their loft is one club or more stronger.
New 6 iron = Ping eye 4/5 iron.
These clubs still perform GREAT.

Ping Eye 2 Blk Square Grooves
Ping Eye 2, Very easy to hit and a Great club that was way ahead of its time. The Heads never show any bag chatter and the ZZ Lite shafts are very good for all golfers. The only thing about these Clubs is that they are a little weak due to the C9 swing weight. You can put a couple of pieces of lead tape in the cavity and get them up to a D1 swing weight. That will get you up to today's standards.Read full review

Ping Eye2 Black Dot Irons (Used)
I think these are the best irons ever made. The only irons I have ever played with.
I bought the first set in 1985. They are well designed, well balanced, and easy to hit.
This is the result of good engineering and quality control.Read full review

Ping eye 2 irons
One of the best irons I have used, at address with the slight offset it makes it easy to get under the ball. they play straight with good loft.
I also play and like the Callaway razor X Black, but keep coming back t.o the Ping Eye 2

Great clubs
In my opinion the Ping Eye 2 is probably the best club Karsten has designed. They are extremely easy to hit, very forgiving on miss hits and still leave the accomplished player the ability to work the ball.
The only issue is newer clubs have decreased the loft so they can claim the new clubs go farther all you have to do is allow for this when selecting the club to hit.Read full review

Great set of Ping Eye 2 BeCu irons
I used Pings just like these 20 years ago, I loved them. I moved on to other irons through the years, but always remembered how much I loved my old Ping Eye 2 BeCu irons. So I decided to find me a set lime i used to have. I love them!Read full review

Nice clubs in good condition
I ordered this set of Ping golf clubs and he loves them! He gave his set of Ping clubs away about 6 years ago and has regretted it every since, so I wanted to surprise him for Father's Day. The clubs arrived quickly and in good condition just as promised. He was delighted with this purchase, so thank you!Read full review
