Wireless router - good product, useless manual.

The wireless extender works well when you have worked out how to use it! The very brief single sheet "manual" is useless. I would recommend simply connecting the extender to a computer with the ethernet cable provided, logging in and working through the menus until you find something that does what you want. (I must admit I have not tried all the modes.)

It is now being used to help connect my home-made wireless weather station which is in a shed in the garden.

Delivery was very quick. Price is reasonable.

Not what it appears to be

This is simply a signal amplifier and not a network booster or repeater it claims to be.
by looking at the pictures and description you’d be expecting to receive two boxes (as pictured) one to plug in to your hub and then another to plug into a device via lan cable but what you will actually get is a single box which “may” may increase wifi range depending on how good your range already is, personally I think this is a shameful misrepresentation of the device.
Mine went into the bin as my WiFi gives a stronger signal than this does to begin with !!

Ok for the price

Ok, so this was pretty cheap so wasn't expecting much. Firstly its obviously made for various markets around the world so the UK plug part clicks into place before installation, this does however mean it can also come off when you try to unplug it. The plug itself is pretty tight in the socket so that makes the issue slightly worse as you then need to Jimmy it back out after the top has come off.
Anyway, presumably after installation it'll rarely be moved so not too much of an issue. Connecting to my router using the WPS button was instant and started working immediately, which is always nice.
REMEMBER - you need to change the device password as they are set to 'admin' by default, instructions on how to do this are included, it's very simple. The WiFi itself mimics the original routers password when using it as an extender.
It's also worth noting that depending on your phone/tablet/whatever, you might need to change the settings to pick up the nearest WiFi signal, rather than hold onto the last one. Otherwise you might find you're still connected to this device whilst your sat next to your router. On my phone I just tap airplane mode on and off and it then reconnects the the best signal.
Overall, cheap and effective, if a little flimsy on the plug.

Good product

Drivers do not support dual-band, it is only 2.4GHz wifi.
Installation is easy and works from the first click.

Inexpensive wifi booster

Simple solution for extending your wifi. Easy to set up and works well, but be aware that the download speed is much lower from the extender. In my case, between 9 & 12 from the extender as opposed to 45 mbps from the main router. Uploads are about the same. Meets my needs, so quite happy. Read full review...

Easy to setup

Excellent piece of kit. Does what it says on the tin. So easy to set up. I am using as a WiFi repeater on a caravan site. My only request would be to be able to set a different password for the repeated signal rather than having to use the same one as the original signal. Because the original signal that I am boosting is open and I really wanted to secure my repeated signal just for the use of our guests. Hope this makes sense.Read full review...

Wireless booster

I already had a 10metre ethernet cable attached to my router which made it very easy to just plug in and then pick up the new signal in another part of the house.

WiFi booster

Great addition to my home broadband, I have my hub at one end of my bungalow, the two bedrooms are at the opposite end, I was having intermittent or no signal at all in the bedrooms, one down side was setting it up, I’m 61 and not very good with the technology, however my son in-law is good when it comes to that sort of thing, he set it up a few days ago and so far I’ve had no issues, every thing seems to be working fine, I can finally use my bedroom tv to its full extent. I’m really pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone having problems with weak signal. Read full review...

Wifi extender

Good product the instructions are a little hard to follow and the writing is very small and in a light green ink?
But once we set it up through. Following a search engine it was quite easy and works absolutely brilliant now we have a good wifi signal in the garden and mancave
Really happy and pleased with this products performance
