I have tried many other brands, name brand and generic, these work!
I have them installed in a samsung galaxy 8 & 8+, started with 512gb then 256gb and they didn't work, was in touch with samsung to tell them about a compatibility issue they wanted me to reprogram the 2 phones, not happening for the $$ I paid for the phones. Tried 3 other "major brand" micro sd cards, and they were either extremely slow or crapped out within a day or two. Honestly, i think they were counterfeits being pushed off on the web. Some memory cards out there are slow and unreliable. I have found this to be both high-quality and fast. I did a Google search of reviews before purchasing this. Almost all the reviews were positive.
