Pleased with it so far

I bought this speaker to replace the Quadratec subwoofer in my 03 Wrangler that failed in less than 2 years. This one fits well you just have to use the screws that come with it to mount it. The fame is a little smaller so you will need new holes. However it still makes a good seal in the factory subwoofer box. Large magnet and good sound. Bump in the trunk

60hz bass response is what is required for good bass and it seems ridiculous to spend 75$ and up on so called name brand Midbass with only 85hz and above...save some money and get some sound!

I purchased these for ammo can radios I build great sound, perfect size.

Had some before

Iv gotten these before and put 2 of them in one box for my house stereo and they sound awesome for that bass was great. These one i just got and put in my truck with custom fiberglass boxes and they dont sound quite right. It may be the box or the stereo im not sure but i cant find anything about the requirements for box valium so im going to try and see how they sound in the house with the boxes there in and go from there.if anyone knows the box valium for these pleas contact me. I know, I know, its more pyramid crap. Its been 20+ yrs since my first and last pyramid purchase since I was 17, and ive been into car stereo ever since. I'm more into sound quality these days, and these speakers are def not that quality, BUT, the speakers in my girlfriends car were blown, and these fit perfectly, and appear well built, and sound decent enough with the crappy hyundai stock radio that will soon be upgraded. If youre looking for good bass, get alpine or a subwoofer, but these are decent unamplified, and will probably be pretty durable with weak stock rms wattage. Great set of speakers, especially for the price. They are thirsty for power. Don't expect to get loud volumes and a lot of bass while running them from a stock radio. Feed them some juice.
