AMAZING RETRO TECH

I first had one of these (old monochrome version) in 2000 then a colour one a couple of years later. I ran my life on it - diary & appointments, contacts, to do lists, shopping lists, money manager. Still cannot do without it. I know that I could transfer all this to my smartphone but none of the phone apps are any better plus I would have to manually transfer all the data.... very painstaking. Some of the Tungsten apps are far better even now. So I just buy remaining unopened Tungstens and synch them with my Palm Desktop in order to always have a working one. I'm on my fourth now.

I also love the ability to handwrite everything (hate the tiny phone screen keyboards) using the stylus and have the Tungsten convert it to text. It also has a book reader plus Microsoft Office apps for Word and Excel.Read full review

Compact store of information.Does the job

It is the second one I have bought, the first nearing the end of its life after many years of life . It is an ideal compact store of information and secure from hackers (unless you choose to interact with the web) Works for me.
