Classic Tech
I always wanted a 3DO when I was younger. The system was very powerful for its time. The graphics in some of the games such as Road Rash still hold up well. The loading times are slow with the 1X CD drive, but that's okay, There aren't a lot of great games for the system, but I'm still glad I got the system for nostalgia's sake. This is a well-built piece of equipment, not a cheap toy like some video game systems.Read full review

My favorite Game System! So underated!
The 3DO can't really be explained. It has to be played to understand! Yes it came out before the more "advanced" Sega Saturn and PlayStation. But something about the 3DO character just has me always coming back to it for Retro Gaming. Maybe it's all the awesome FMV American Laser Game Arcade classics like Mad Dog Mcgree or Crime Patrol (with the 3DO Game Gun of course)! Or the 3DO exclusive games like quirky fun "Captain Quazar" and the super erie/creepy 3D shooter "Killing Time"? Whatever it is, the 3DO just does it for me!
People argue that 3DO's "best" games (like "Road Rash" or "Need For Speed") we're ported over to other "superior" game systems. But the truth is, those games are not the same (and in my opinion, not nearly as good)! "Need for Speed" is a completely different (and far superior) game on the 3DO than Saturn or PS. "Road Rash" game play was successfully ported over (though I think the coloring looks slightly off on PS and the engine sound is horrible on the Saturn version). Try the 3DO, you might never look back to anything else for Retro Gaming!Read full review

3DO Review
I played my first 3DO game when the system launched many years ago. I had a blast. While I checked the "No" button on the graphics, it's by no means knocking it. It is just old and tired by today's standards.
Now if you're looking for some good ole fashioned fun with a lot of local co-op games, you may want to consider giving it a go. All in all, I give it a seven and a half out of ten stars. A Great retro system to add to your collection.Read full review
Why I continue to have a 3do system
There's killing time, and two dungeon and dragons games. Plus a bunch of real life video gun shooter games and a few other first person shooter games you can't get on other systems or the computer. You can find a few games like dungeons and dragons on computer and general panzer and po'ed on playstation 1 but I rather have them all on one system and having owned several 3do system's if you get a good one it seems to last forever. I remember when my first system a goldstar broke after a warrenty would have been over if I even had one but I called 3do and they sent me a free refurbished one after I sent them mine. What a great company if they had a system today I probably wouldn't be playing my spoiled playstation 3 or 2 as much! 3DO had something playstation doesn't seem to have.... a love of the customer..,,Read full review
Not to bad for the first 32 bit system
I know a lot of people didn’t care for the 3DO. I actually enjoyed the system and the games that were available for it. The very first Need for Speed game was released on the 3DO by EA.

3DO!
3DO is by far the most unappreciated console out there. The console has many many good games. Don't believe the "3DO only had porn games" bandwagon, because there's only about 6 of them out of the 170+ US titles.Read full review

Yes I had bought US version back when they were new now Japanese version
The Japanese version with the 240p switch AB on reverse side of console is the better display quality version to own.
