Versatility, quality and price. Love it. Buy it.
Hi, I bought this lens for one of my GH5 used as a secondary video camera (the primary GH5 has the f/2.8 version of the same lens). This lens is VERY versatile - 24-120mm equivalent - in a small and light package and I love it. It is not perfect but I gave it 5 stars for all the good stuff (all the main lens features) that you get at its price point. The f/2.8 is brighter and better but costs twice as much and I would make sure that I absolutely need it before paying that kind of money. Read full review...

mixed bag on Olympus body
I bought it as a replacement travel zoom for my EM10 Mark II 12-42EZ lens.
Pros:
- Versatile and pretty good image quality.
- Mechanical zoom feels much better (for me) for stills than the electronic zoom
Cons:
- In good light it focuses very fast, however when is darker or on subject with less contrast
it struggles much more than the original EZ lens.
- Although it is relatively small for it's zoom range, it is still much more bulkier than the EZ lens which need to be considered when building a travel kitRead full review...

Best MFT Kit Lens
Very useful focal length range. The lens is also extremely light weight, weather sealed and has optical image stabilization.

Great deal
The item came quickly, and well packed. This lens has a perfect range for everyday use. It covers a good wide to medium telephoto range. Not great for low light shooting though. The images are sharp, and vibrant. Highly recommended. Read full review...

I have bought this lens 5 times. I still have all 5.
#5. Love these lenses. I have both Panasonic and Olympus
cameras and the primary lens has been the Lumix 12-60. This is the 5th one I have bought. It is just easier to have the lenses stay with the cameras. A great do it all lens and weather resistant. For travelers and daily street shooting. Thank me later.Read full review...

A Lens Worth Having
I know that most camera buffs feel that it is their duty to despise "kit lenses," but this is one kit lens that really gets the job done. It produces sharp pics and video, and does everything it is supposed to do. I am very happy with this lens. I was using a 20mm prime lens, but I find this lens is much more versatile and still provides high quality pics and videos.Read full review...
