This camera for me replaces a comprehensive collection of DSLR gear and projects requiring prints of A3 size are easily made and perfectly acceptable. I await a TZ 100 model, but can readily recommend this one

I bought this camera a few days before I went on holiday. I found it easy to use initially having had a TZ40 originally. What I liked about the new camera was the fact that it had a viewfinder useful when the sun was shining on the screen. Image quality was excellent. I tried out many of the functions and was impressed with the panoramic shots and that I could change the focus of the picture even after I had taken it. Had the DMC TZ10 for a few years so this upgrade made sense. Only one design criticism is the flash is positioned right where your middle index finger falls. So you have to make an effort for it not to obscure the flash when needed. Read full review

Easy to carry .... versatile

Good all round but particularly the zoom facility. Easy to transfer images using the WiFi facility. Love the remote control from smartphone app which allows really good close-ups of the bird feeders.

Little gem

A budget compact that does lots! Point and shoot is easy and creative tools are good fun. The viewfinder is really useful in bright conditions when the screen can be difficult to see.
Solid feel and pretty intuitive to use, although the instruction booklet can be helpful when using some features.
