Good product little bit large could do with more Zoom pitty about noise

I found this camera very noisy in the lens are I complained to everyone Panasonic said to send of to have a look at it cost me money to post they said noise was normal had to pay to get it back complained to Panasonic they refunded me the post cost I wrote to Managing Director at Panasonic they had a look into my complaint now they say there is a fault with these cameras and are going to repair free of charge when they get parts. Fantastic camera - well worth the money - highly recommended!

FANTASTIC CAMERA - bought this for my husband as he had always used his very old Pentax with very heavy large lenses & with film for Classic Car Shows.
Since giving him this early birthday present 2 days ago hes never stopped 'playing' with it all day (if you know what I mean!)

Ive been trying to watch tv today and he keeps interrupting saying, it does this you know, and does that - very annoying - I thought it would have kept him quite! - I think the dogs are sick of him now as he keeps taking pictures of them randomly!!

Shame we will all have to put up with him until March when the Classic Car Shows start again!

Great camera

Before buying I had some doubts that it will be too big and heavy and difficult to use, found that the LUMIX FZ1000 is very comfortable to hold, was simply stunned by the viewfinder image quality. It is very quick to start, takes great pictures and has endless list of scenes, settings, controls etc which I am looking forward to learn and use. All-purpose camera

The FZ1000 is the best travel camera I have had. It sports a high resolution Leica lens which produces superb results even with A3 prints. Controls are well placed and easy to use and the camera sits firmly in he hand. My only reservation is the short (ish) battery life so I have a fully-charged spare always handy. Otherwise, this is a high performance camera which will give excellent quality pictures every time. An all-purpose machine that won't disappoint. Highly recommended.Read full review...

Brilliant Video Results

Purchased this camera principally for video in hd & 4k. Both exceed expectations. I convert 4k to full hd 1920x1080 with Handbrake using my created preset. Not much difference between compressed hd v video shot in full hd except when you look at close up and zoom detail which is noticably superior on compressed 4k shots when 2 identical videos are shot. Other features too numerous to mention only con is the weight which is greater than other cameras I have owned but having said that the FZ1000 is a vastly superior machine.Read full review...

Replaces SLR

An excellent camera in every way. Both ends of the focal range of the lens gives me sharp images with no colour fringing. The electronic viewfinder is easily the best I've seen. Focus is quick and the anti- shake mechanism, when hand held and with the lens at its maximum focal length, works a treat. The larger than usual sensor helps give noise free pictures capable of considerable enlargement.
Tho' the camera is not small, it replaces my SLR with its assortment of lenses making it both smaller and much quicker to use.
