Beats using a screwdriver

I needed to replace a well-used chainring. My old method (hex wrench and fine blade screwdriver) weren't working.

I thought to myself, "Hey, why not use the tool meant for the job?"

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough; I ended up going to my LBS for more radical surgery. Who in turn passed my bike to a machinist.

C'est la vie.

But for my next swap it worked like a charm.

This tool is good for holding the back "nut" of your chainring spider bolts while tightening the front portion with an alan tool. It fits well and does the job.

Has two slightly different ends to fit slightly different bolt heads.
The tool itself is great, but the bolt designs on these cranksets are trash.

Precise fit and typical excellent Park quality!

This wrench has a precise fit just like the (usually more expensive) vintage Sugino chainring bolt spanner wrench. The Sugino wrench is nice to have, however, if you still want good quality, but at a lower price, then the Park wrench is a good choice.Read full review

ChainRing Nut Wrench

Oh this is a life saver Tool, you have those old sprockets on your
Bmx Mtb with the bolts this is the tool you need. But the hammer down and that
other crazy thing this is all you need. maybe some elbow grease for those old stuck
on ones. no striping it out or all the other things that come with removing's those bolts.
