Great fun as long as you stand downwind. Dry grass in the patio can erupt in a jet like flame. Some thick weeds need a longer burst of heat. Most weeds are simply evaporated. It's fairly light and very easy to use with no bending over or any effort required. It can take a while if your block paving is full of weeds, but once cleared it's so easy to keep clear. This burner is easy to use but it is only just powerful enough to kill the weeds. It also takes quite a while to totally kill the weeds. It is safer than a gas based product and more convenient. One flaw in my purchase

Supplier and service fine, but while the unit operates perfectly, the power nozzle has poorly defined lock-in connection that means it falls off at the merest touch. Hope it’s just a fluke and have had to wrap in insulation in advance of getting proper thermo tape..

Effective weed control

Weed Burner is lightweight and works well

The weed burner works well on pathways and gets rid of the weeds, although it takes a while before the bigger ones are burnt away.
Not quite so effective on weeds in grassy areas, as the grass around the weed burns before the weed does.

Easy to Use

Order this electric weed burner as an alternative to using the gas powered weed wand or using chemical weed killer. Firstly the Item is very easy to assemble/disassemble and packs away into a small box which is ideal if your pushed for storage space. Secondly when assembled for use the item is very lightweight, so no strain on the arms whilst using and Thirdly, Choice off nozzles to aim the blast of hot air onto the weed. It has two heat settings the first is 50c, this setting is used to warm the weed burn to a sufficent heat before switching to the second setting of 600c to burn the weed to ash, once finished switch back down to 50c and after a minute or so, you can turn it off to let it cooldown fully. There is a little pullout on the shaft of the wand so you can rest the item on the floor without the nozzle being on the ground. I cleared a large path full of weeds in about 30mins that included switching the unit down to the 50c setting so the unit wasnt running on full blast all the time. Lightweight, easy to use.

Arrived quickly. Assembled by my partner. Light weight to hold. I use an extension lead as well although the lead is a good length. Impressed with my first use, it takes about five days to see how well you used it the first time. Beware an area of dry grass, I had a mini fire. It is great to know I am not using strong chemicals. I look forward to using it again. Not sure it would work on spanish bluebells .Or Mares tail ... I am at war with them. Hope it works on MYOB which is escaping from a neighbours garden
