This is a great series. I really enjoy watching it. The price was ok but the packaging isn't too terrific all the corners and edges are dinged up. Scratches on the outside of box. The dvd holders are cardboard and dont offer much protection for the dvds. I have bought other series that cost the same but had real dvd cases to protect them. I bought a dvd holder case to put them in to protect them better and put thier original case away because its in rough shape already. I do like the series glad i bought it but before i buy another series i will make sure to not buy it with this kind of case.Read full review

Mill Creek packaging is horrendous!

5 stars for the show. Too bad one of my favorite 90's TV shows got such a shoddy Complete Series box. I knew something was up when I held the box and it felt "squishy" There are 12 cardboard holders, if you can call them that which holds a disc on the front and one on the back. These discs are going right in proper disc cases to avoid any scratching. As for the show, yes some (probably most) of the music has been replaced. Luckily the title song was kept, unlike with Dawson's Creek. The music replacement won't bother most people unless they distinctly remember a specific song with a memorable scene. It's been so long that I don't remember the original tracks. Video quality looks good and sharp and the color is nicely saturated. It's in the original 1:33 format, not widescreen. Audio is in 2 channel Dolby Digital. This set is worth the money just for the great show, especially at this price, but I would buy some cases to put the discs in.Read full review

Attractive people lifestyles and problems

Basically a great series on how the beautiful people live with revolving girlfriends/boyfriends and constant flirtations. Siblings lose their parents to a tragic car collision, but they inherit their parent's posh, successful restaurant and million dollar-like, multi-floor home and a healthy trust.

Sure it's not reality to us ugly, humble people. But it was a good escape during the 90s to have some hope that one day I may have a Jennifer Love Hewitt or Neve Campbell girlfriend someday. Compelling characters and roller coaster plots keep the viewer's attention. Making this one of the best series about teens to 20-something year olders ever made.

Although I'm now in my 40s. When I watch Party Of Five, I'm in my mid-20s all over again. A better time in life and just an overall better era. Read full review
