It's like getting advice from your neighbors.

First let me say that this book is geared toward southern gardens. It focuses on old fashioned flowers that you saw in Grandma 's yard and have forgotten the name of. You will find lots of information and helpful hints as the authors reminisce about their own experiences and gardens they have known. This book doesn't cover a vast number of plants but it does fully review the 117 they include in their tales. Color photos of each plant help you recognize what is being rated.
