Had for months, use it everyday!

Really enjoy the simplicity of the Patlock. Takes literally less than 10 seconds to put on my doors and off.

I've only given it 4 stars as the rubber black sheath inside the lock has become loose. It's a bit disappointing but it doesn't impede it's performance so overall not a bad shoutRead full review

added security for French doors

We were recommended this product by a friend. When properly fitted it gives added peace of mind for vulnerable, French doors. Fairly easy to fit my husband thinks, (the spindle has to be removed), and the lock itself is easy to attach. As the device is visible from the outside it should deter any 'would be thief'.

Does what it claims

Very easy to fit and remove - important if the door is used often. Seems to be very strong. Only thing I can see is that if the glass in the door was smashed then the lock could possibly be removed as it is not locked on with a key. Hopefully though the burglar would think twice about trying to smash toughened double glazing and then reaching through it.Read full review

looked at a number of similar items on the market but thought this one would be the best,easy enough to install and looks ok, it is not obtusive but definatley can be seen from the outside which is part of the point and certainly brings piece of mind, one minor point is it might be a little difficult use for anyone who has grip problems as both halfs have to be pressed in to remove so somthing to keep in mind if buying on behalf of an elderly relative.Read full review

This is a brilliant bit of kit that was very easy to fit. The spindles were easy to change. The Patlock is easy to use, it takes seconds to attach to the handles for a sturdy, safe deterrent.
