Burn well and clean, no ash
We have an open fire and I wanted something that would catch well but burn long and not gather all the ash afterwards. They don't catch as well as I hoped but everything else was perfect. Extremely heavy when delivered, a big burley man who carried them on his shoulder wouldn't hand the box to me and insisted on placing it where it was needed. Afterwards I could only move it with my feet, sliding it across the lino, so you'd need to unpack and stack accordingly, as you would a bag of coal rather than wood. Great product, would recommend and buy again on a regular basis.Read full review

An excellent winter heat.
Once again, an excellent product delivered very quickly. The peat lights well, has a long burn time, is easy to handle and store.

GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have used these before and found them to keep the fire going through the night thus making it a cheap way of keeping warm this winter. The fire helps stop me using the central heating which is good so that I won't have to pay for that. Having a fire really keeps the home nice and warm and it also helps in this bad time. Yes, I would recommend the briquettes if you want to keep your fire going all night and into the morning so that the house is nice and warm when I get up and then it will keep going until the next time you use the fire. Irish peat briquettes
These briquettes are excellent, easy to light, cleaner than coal to handle, burn with a nice flame and very little smoke. They also keep in well. Only slight niggle they burn down but make a lot of ash. Read full review
