After hauling around my toiletries in a gallon sip lock bag for much too long, I finally popped on getting one of these Original Penguin toiletry bags and I have to say it was well worth it. Not quite what I expected

I purchased this to replace an old travel kit/bag that I had been using for years. This is a well made high quality travel case. The leather used is really nice... which is one of the main reasons I wanted it. Workmanship is top shelf!

However...

I'm not liking the shape of this bag. As you can see in the photo, the top is kinda rounded at the ends. This ends up sacrificing space on the inside. I'm also not digging the compartment on the bottom. If you want anything out of the bottom, the top must be zipped up and turn it upside down.

Another user may or may not feel the same. Depends on what you were used to using before. My old case had more of a square top and no bottom compartment. Same size bag, but due to the shape and layout, I feel I don't get the same amount of space and satisfaction from this new one that I had with my old one.

I do feel, however, that this bag will last a long time. As I said, it's made of some pretty nice materials. I feel that anyone that tries this bag will certainly agree with the high quality of the leather.Read full review
