The best Camera I have ever owned

I bought this equipment to add to and complement my digital camera equipment. I already had a Pentax *istD L2 and some lenses from 35 mm Pentax KAF mounts. I especially like the solid build quality (I couldn't afford a Nikon so this was the nearest to it) and general ease of use / handling. The pictures it takes with the lenses I have {18-55mm (SMC Pentax DA WR), 50-200mm (SMC Pentax DA) and 70-300mm (Sigma Macro)}, all have given some fantasic results). Even the built in flash for portature have given some exceptional results. The flash is as good (if not better than) as a hotshoe type. I honestly can't say how it compares to other brands (as I don't have any) however, compared to the Pentax digital that I have (which itself gives great results) it outperforms that by some way. I am now looking for an 18-200mm lens so that I can just take that with me (on holiday) and don't have to mess around with changing lenses. The choice will be between a Tamron and Sigma as these are within my price range. I suppose to sum up I totally trust this camera knowing that I will get some really good results as a minimum.Read full review...

Love the pentax range of cameras

Even at full price the features of the pentax K-7 are great, especially the weather resistance. At eBay prices I am well impressed!!
