Simple game, simple story, mostly just a nostalgia trip more than anything

I'll put this at three stars because I view that as the middle and isn't inherently good or bad for the following reasons.

Objectively the game is not very good, for the time the graphics aren't terrible, but definitely aren't anything to brag about. The difficulty is nonexistent, any child over the age of 8 or 9 wouldn't face much difficulty ever. The gameplay is subpar and the story follows suit. I wouldn't recommend spending more than $10 for this especially if you're not buying it for yourself.

Now that was how I view this game objectively, now personally I love this game, this is the second time I've purchased this game, the first time being full price when it first released as a child, and now a second time as an adult. When I played the game I as a child I loved it, it was a video game of my then and my now favorite book series. I to this day continue to love this game, now more for the nostalgia and memories over anything, but I continue to love it.

If you loved the books but hated the movie for not following the story (completely valid), you will not enjoy this game, if you loved the books and tolerated the movie due to it being the only visualization of the series at the time, you'll most likely tolerate and enjoy the game as well, if you just loved the movie you'll surely enjoy this as well.Read full review...

You have to get this game. This is the one game every kid should have! Fast action and adventure. This is the kind of game that you can play for days and days. Worst game that I have ever played

Terrible game!!! It was alot more boring than I thought it would be. Recommended that you DO NOT BUY!!! I liked the movie and all the books but the game... it was just plain bad. I let my friend borrow it to see if he liked it at all and he gave it back the next day and asked how much i paid for it. I said 5 bucks. My son loves the series and is having a blast defeating furries & minotaurs

My son loves the series and is having a blast defeating furries and minotaurs... Its a pretty simple game. So far its quite fun.

Fun game

When you start playing it seems like it would be boring but it isnt. it is a mix between the book and the movie and some other stuff they just threw in. Great for kidss.

Good to play

Grandson loved it and plays it constantly. He read all the books and that is why he wanted the game.
