Permissive a grim film about swinging London

Set during the liberated late 1960's/early 70's this is a somewhat grim take on the lives of groupies. The film does contain quite a high level of nudity but as was the directors intention, none of the characters are particularly appealing. A kitchen sink drama that the UK made around this era dressed up as a sex film.
On the plus side the BFI transcript of the film is top notch, with good colour & although there is still some grain, this is more than acceptable & many, like myself, actually prefer it to the ultra cleaned look of some older films I've seen.
So if you like depressing story lines & average camera work, this will be right up your street.Read full review
