Does not work

I bought this item because I am over run with cats since our new neighbours moved in, they have nine. After suffering with cat pee squirted all over my garden and garden furniture including our jacuzzi and bbq I decided I’d had enough. Our garden reeked I have to go out daily with jeys fluid and wash everything it’s a nightmare. I used to have a cat deterrent years ago which worked well so I thought I’d buy this one. Unfortunately the cats are not bothered about it they lay in front of it and stroll around the garden squirting. I turned it to the highest setting and it doesn’t bother the cats at all. My previous deterrent worked immediately and once activated the cats would run off twitching their ears, eventually they stopped coming into my garden after a week and all was well till my young grandson picked it up and smashed it. I wouldn’t recommend the one I’ve just bought it’s a waste of money, as said it doesn’t bother the cats they sit around it grooming themselves.

Where is the cat?

We have been using this for two weeks now. It was easy to install. We bought it to scare off a bird-killing cat. On the first day I was upset to see the cat in his usual hiding place. It seems to do its job.

Since deployed I rarely see a cat in the garden. So far it seems to work, I have not noticed any fresh digging in the plots.
I have to say that the weather may be a factor as cats do not like going out when it's wet.
