The best option.

One of my kittens has managed to get out when it is set to in only, so not 5 stars. But she is a clever little thing, I don't think many cats will manage it, nor her when she gets bigger.
Easy enough to fit and set to my chipped cats. A good quality product. Read full review...

poor design nicely executed

easy to fit but the chip sensor has very limited range so the cats chip needs to be up the cats nose to trigger the mechanism

Negative comments....

Don't believe the negative stuff you read This is a great piece of kit..it is fast to fit it took me less than 15 mins pencil a jigsaw and Philips screwdriver and a drill. Is a doddle to program for your cats chip. It works well the unlatch solenoid clicks on opening as expected that made our three cats a little unsure but three days later all three cats manage just fine ( they got used to the click). We left it in manual for a couple of days so it works like any other cat flap and the cats got used to it.
No issues from the draft excluder that is no worse than any other cat entry system..
I really don't understand what some people expect.
Easy to fit so simple to use and well worth the price..

Expensive mistake for a scared cat

Easy to fit to wooden door. My cat hated it, would not go through the flap due to the loud click before the flap would open. Would not open in the 'in mode' without the batteries as an ordinary cat flap. I had to go back to the regular cat flap. Waste of £60!Read full review...

Well made item

I left it in the living room for a few days and left treats on it to get my cat user to it. Put the batteries in and the cats chip was read ok. Unfortunately it doesn't read it till my cat is halfway through!!. This means he doesn't activate it by pressing his nose on the door. I really wish the magic eye reader was nearer the entrance from outside so he could activate itRead full review...

Awful product. Cat flap.

This cat flap is awful. It stops working and has to be re set. When you re-set it it works for a few days then stops again. My poor cat was trying really hard to get in but it would not open for him. I am very disappointed with this product.Read full review...

Very Small

It says that it should fit cats up to 8kg, either my cat is lying about his 6.5kg frame ir it's really small, think a small torpedo trying to get through. Easy to install but the centre section is quite long so he got stuck

Had to buy a dog one !!

Microchip cat flap.

Firstly it is easy to install and easy to set for the microchip, the cat has a good clear view to the outside and hopefully it will keep out the interlopers that are hanging about.
