Great, beautiful watch that won't work !

This is a beautiful watch I really wanted, problem is, I can't get it to work. I've changed batteries a few different times, and the best it would do is work temporarily. I really want this watch but don't think I can take it for an expensive repair at a jewelry store. I don't know what to do, please advise. If you had another one, I would go for it very quickly, I've looked and don't see any more. I know world wide supply problems are gumming up the works for so many people. Too bad ! When can I expect another watch exactly the same or a refund ?? I'm still waiting for an answer to this ! I hope I hear something soon, or I'll have to visit the credit card company.
