A good read with great pictures.

I was looking for a book about the rise of the American trucks and this one seemed to fill the need. However, this book is not all about the American truck. It also delves into trucks made, owned and operated in Europe. The book is good except some of the "facts" aren't quite factual. I am a retired trucker and those "facts" that were presented as gospel truth left me in stitches. I would assume that the author of the book might have been taken advantage of due to his being a Dutchman. I have known truckers that wouldn't have been above pulling the gentleman's leg just for the fun of it.Read full review...
