I'm a bit to the right of center on the pen craziness scale and own many nice pens from respected brands. I hesitated buying this Pilot Custom 823 because of the brown color, but now that I have it it's the only pen I use. I used to carry two or three in my coat for work each day, but this one holds so much ink that I never have to worry about running out anymore. Not even close. It's also proven 100 percent reliable with regards to leaking and jamming, so I don't feel bad without a backup.
