a must for any floyd fan a live performance of the wall performing all the tracks from the wall album the sound quality is very good and so is the packaging which is a 64 paged hardback book inclosed in a hard boxed case the only down side the cds slot inside the book which means can be abit tricky to get in and out with fat fingers apart from this if you like pink floyd and you havent got or even herd is cd then buy a copy your in for a treat.Read full review...

THE REASON I DECIDED TO BUY THIS INSTEAD OF THE STUDIO ALBUM WAS ONLY BECAUSE OF A BARGIN PRICE OR FATE, FIRST THE ALBUM COMES IN SOME STURDY BOX SET, AND A BOOK WITH SOME BRILLIANT ARTWORK WHICH IS TAKEN FROM THE FILM, WITHIN THE BOOK YOU GET TWO CDS WHICH BY ORDER DOES FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL TRACK LISTING, BUT OBVIOUSLY YOU ALWAYS GET A LITTLE EXTRA IN A LIVE PERFORMANCE,THE GUITAR SOLO'S ARE EXTENDED AND THANKFULLY WHEN THE ALBUM WAS PUT TOGETHER THEY LEFT CROWD NOISE TO A MINIMUM, I COULD LIST MANY LIVE ALBUMS THAT WOULD SOUND SO MUCH BETTER WITHOUT THE CROWD SINGING IN PLACE OF THE ARTIST THEMSELVES. A must for all Pink Floyd fans especially those who've seen The Wall live

A nice package combining tremendous artwork from the original Wall shows and a good quality recording of the shows themselves. The audience and the slight variations in the songs (and an additional tune for good measure) make this a must have item for any Pink Floyd (or Roger Waters) fan's collection. A brilliant rare find of Pink Floyd's classic film/musical with an accompanying booklet detailing the band members' thoughts about the works for this masterpiece. Undervalued Gem...Overall a 5 star listen! BUY IT

while looking for a remastered copy of The Wall I stumbled across this little treasure. Not sure if it's a current release but there is no shortage of secondhand copies. At a reasonable £10 for the deluxe version with book I thought I'd give it a punt, especially as it had had decent user reviews on various sites. Well I can tell you they are all true, it is as well produced as the original studio version, there is little sign in the playing or production of the tensions within the band at that time, and overall I would say it truely is a more rewarding liten than the studio version. If you have the original and are a fan BUY IT, if you are a fisrt time listener to he Wall experience I would still say get this one instead of the original.Read full review...
