A great update to my aging car
I own a 17 year old BMW E46, and wanted DAB and Bluetooth. This radio was £30 cheaper than Halfords. With the fascia and the wiring harness, this brought the total to about £140.
The wiring harness works fine, but fitting this radio is hard work in my car. I needed an auto electrician to fit it properly, as the E46 has verily limited space behind the radio, and big connectors, and I wanted the DAB aerial and Bluetooth microphone fitting.
The radio is easy to set up, although the DAB stations are hard to find, as they are listed by frequency not name.
The app is worthwhile, and makes finding your favourite DAB stations a cinch.
The rest of the app is useful, whether you want to change the source, set up Spotify or just see the song name.
I highly recommend this radio and for the money, I’d say it can’t be beaten.
