All in All a Nice Camera
I would have given this 5 stars if there was a license plate bracket mounting option, especially for my '05 Dodge pickup. I would also liked to have seen a wheather proof connector between the 6' section connected to the camera and the extension harness for those of use who need to have the connector outside the vehicle. Other than that the installation was pretty straightforward and hooked up to my MVH-2400 NEX easily. The performance is very good, but the low light could be a little better. Not clear at night.
Day is clear, nigh-time is horrible. Will end up replacing it. Only bought to match the brand of my stereo. Should have purchased a cheap infrared one. Would not recommend.

Best Option Out There As Far As Quality Goes
I've installed three of these in our family vehicles to match with the pioneer touchscreen radios. These are the best cameras, although not the cheapest. They are of better quality than 99% of the other ones you'll find. The hands down best part about this camera, and something that trumps the others is the wiring harness. The main difference ,and improvement, is the tiny little plug from the camera to the rest of the harness. Check it out... and compare it with the others and notice those huge RCA style plugs that requires a huge hole to be drilled for it to fit through. That fact alone should convince you that this is the best choice if you plan to run the wire say though the loom of the life gate of an SUV.
FYI...I bought installed and removed and returned a boyo vision camera from SonicElectronix. It had purple wash out and their tech support said they've seen this recently with that brand.
Don't be tempted by the cheaper cameras...it's worth the extra money for something you will use all the time hassle free. Read full review

Great picture. Needs weather proof connection.
It has a nice wide view. Wider than any other backup camera I have seen. It has a nice clear picture displayed on my Pioneer radio. The only down side I could see is the connection between the 8 foot lead cable from the camera and the 8 foot feed cable to the display device is not water proof. I had to install a weather proof junction box under the cab of my extended cab truck. After that, I had plenty of cable to reach the display device.Read full review
