Good CD

Good pop CD with quite a few well known tracks. Some rapping and swearing which as a lady in my 40s I'm not too keen on. Overall, pretty good.

Excellent CD

One of the most original album ideas in decades. A story that draws you into the life of Strickland Banks and will have you singing along all day

Amazing

What a great album. I have listened to plan B for along time now and his music has changed quite alot. This album is well worth buying.

Also look out for who needs actions when you got words. That is his older album.Read full review...

PLAN B THE DEFAMMATION OF STRICKLAND BANKS WHAT A SOUND

I had heard great things about this CD and I thought I would hear it for myself. From listening to the first track right until the end. I could not believe what I was hearing. I was sent back to the mid 60's listening to a great Tamla Mowtown Sound, only to be reminded by the CD cover that this was present day. This guy has a great voice, and the backing sound was second to non. I really hope this guy does not give up music to be a stand up comic as he has stated in the past as it would be a sad day for music to miss out on this brilliant talent.Read full review...

A great idea, well executed

I bought this album after hearing a dew of the songs on the radio, thought they sounded a little more interesting lyrically than the usual tripe.

After listening to the whole CD just once, I was hooked, usually it takes me a few listening to get into an album.

This guy has a real talent, great ideas and I have high hopes for any future releases.

If you like the storytelling type song with some intensive ideas and a varied musical style (rap/60s/80s/r'n'b) then I would definately recommend highly
