Plantronics M70 Bluetooth Headset - Black

I miss the M55 but the M70 eases the pain!

The M70 Bluetooth Headset is a good value for what it offers: announces "incoming call", "answering call', along with the usual 'power on', 'talk time' and ' connected or lost connection info. It will dial your contacts, as directed. I do not use it much for music streaming, so I cannot offer much on that.
I miss the M55 (would have keep using it if the price hadn't gone into the stratosphere!) but the M70 is sort making up for it.
It’s nothing fancy or expensive (no 'caller ID, or 'answer or ignore' voice commands), but practical and reliable. Strongly recommend for driving to cut down on avoidable distractions.
It offers 11 hours of talk time (most of the similar Bluetooth headsets only offer between 6-8 hours, in my experience). It is lightweight, comes with ear gel and ear hook, and an USB cord and a small accordion folded manual (full manual can be downloaded, as needed).

Missing features

I had an older Plantronics M50 that had longer battery life and more features. Also have a generic Chinese similar style unit with great battery life and features I miss. The M70 does not stop the audio book when I push the button like the others. The M70 does not announce who is calling. It does not last all day, I have to switch to another one around lunch time. I am disappointed, I bought it because of a recommendation by a family member.Read full review

Clear and reliable

These Plantronics M70s are simple to use and feature packed for the prices. The only downside is, is like other Bluetooth headsets, they are easily lost. I had gotten so used to having a Bluetooth headset that when I lost my M70 I went to purchase another. The store went to only had a Jabra Bluetooth headset. The Jabra is clear, but has very limited features compared to the M70. I had gotten used to the headset talking to me at various times and the Jabra does not have this function. Dollar name brand Bluetooth earpiece devices but none were as good as these so I bought extra one just in case they stop making them. Don't buy unless brand new unopened box!!!

Sent me a junk piece instead of an earpiece. Didn't work! Said open box but no box at all. Gel pieces not adjustable like way too tight/small for that earpiece. Ear Loop was way too small and didn't come with any other sizes. Thought I was buying a new unit in an open box. Got a crapped out piece with no box that didn't work!Read full review
