As one of the three big Japanese fountain pen manufacturers, Platinum knows how to make a good pen. This one is no exception. It is a nice size for average hands and has a good weight and feel. The 18 carat, two-tone gold nib is very attractive, and the quality makes for a very enjoyable writing experience. I believe Platinum no longer makes this model.
