Polk SurroundBar 5000 IHT Sound Bar / Wireless Subwoofer

What? I cant hear ya.

This sweet item came to me before Thursday night football. So I Read the easy to follow instructions, and had it completely installed under my 55''.
The sound is incredible and makes you think your are listening in a "Surround Sound" Movie theatre.
One thing that could give Mrs. Picky something to talk about is the size of the Bass. But to me it is a good size and fits just fine beside my Table that is directly under the TV And Sound bar. Its only about 10'' square and tall, (Just a guess)
This is a fine item so far if lasts and will be worry free, but I cant say about that since Iv had it only a few days.

Subwoofer is sub-par

The soundbar component has very good sound for this type of speaker, in this price range. The subwoofer is tinny, weak and causes a weird "tapping" sound at higher volumes. It may be my placement of the subwoofer to some extent; I still need to try to find a location where I don't get the "tapping" effect. But don't purchase this setup expecting thundering bass.

Easy setup and very good sound

Really improves on TV speakers. Very easy to setup and then program to accept the remote commands from the TV's remote. After that, the cable remote works great at powering this up, adjusting the volume, muting, and changing the sources into the soundbar.

Bought it for our living room. After getting it set up, I gave it a decent test with a wide variety of music. It definitely sounds better than most in the price range that it's in, crisp highs, beefy mid range. Only area it's kinda lacking in is the bass. It rumbles, but it's only a six inch sub, so it's not earth shattering. Watching movies, the sound is clean and well defined.
