Turns green water clear
The pump and filter are doing an amazing job in keeping our pond clear and we now have the pleasure of seeing the fish all the time - not just when they previously surfaced from the depths of green sludge.
We are currently having to clean the filters by pumping the handle twice a week but this is no hardship and we still occasionally treat the water for blanket weed which can grow rapidly during prolonged periods of warmth and sunshine - but this is not a constant problem in our climate!
