Fun movie that brings the Popeye characters to life . Great sets , excellent casting and a good storyline . Gives a satisfying explanation as to where Sweet Pea came from . The one disappointment is the portrayal of Bluto as just a sulking ill tempered meany instead of the outspoken braggadocious prankster of the classic Popeye cartoons . Robin Williams best yet and Shelly Devall is great! Better than when she did the Shining but she was great in that movie also.
