Pompey First

Those from Portsmouth would be well advised to have a scan through the book; I found items I never knew about. Examples are Peter Sellers and the Chemists, Timothy Whites, who would of thought about that and, I was born there! The content is all about 'firsts' in Pompeys history, excellent stuff. For those not from the island of Portsea, what better way to introduce yourself to the places history. Recommended reading for all, admittedly, some of the places have disappeared under redevelopment but the clues are still there.Read full review
