This is one of my favorite movies ever. The characters, plot, setting, and dialogue are perfect for the Jane Austen novel. It is extremely close to the book, and any liberties taken fit wonderfully.

Purchased this video because it was featuring Keira Knightley, Judi Dench & Donald Sutherland. Enjoyed it greatly. The minor problem I had in this video, was that in scenes with mother & girls, they all gabbled at the same time, making it difficult to understand what they were saying. I could go on and on about this movie. The actors couldn't have been chosen better for all of the rolls. Costumes and musical score both perfect. To say that it is beautifully filmed is an understatement. It all just blends together in a way that the viewer has to experience for themselves to really appreciate.
