I have a engineering pink brick patio that has been down for 25 years. Over the years the bricks have become badly discoloured and with lots of black marks. We have tried scrubbing the patio on various occasions, using bleach etc; however nothing seemed to work. I was very sceptical when I ordered this product and when I started to use it but it does work. I used the product as per the instructions and left it over night. The next day I was surprised at how much better the patio looked. There were still a few stains but a second treatment got rid of them. There are still some very small black spots but I think that they are actually in the bricks. They are not at all unsightly and I couldn't be more pleased with the look of my patio. Give it a day or two
I know opinions vary on the effectivemness of this treatment but all I can say is that this year I applied it on a dry, warm day, sprayed the paths (stone), patio (stone), driveway (tarmac covered in moss) and it was Ok after a day but 4 dry days later the stone slabs were clear of slimy moss, the green was gone from the patio and on the driveway the thick moss has gone brown as it dies. There has been some rain after about 6 days and this might have helped to get cleaner paths. The treatment killed the moss and weeds between the stone slabs but some the grass is a bit more resilient.
I have bought some more for a retreatment but none necessary so far.
This is not a cleaner so I did not expect the paving to come up like new. However it is better than I expected.Read full review...

Certainly useful
I bought this product to help with cleaning flag stones that had not been cleaned for several years. Even a powerful jet wash was struggling. So the answer is really that it does work, but very much depends on what you are trying to achieve, and on what surface. For me it acted as a "catalyst" to make the jet washing result better and easier to achieve. I probably needed to re-apply a second dose which might have helped. Used it on the recommended 4:1 mixture but a stronger mix might have been better. On a less soiled surface just a hose down might have sufficed but it did work well when used with the jet wash. At least I have plenty left for next year or other jobs. It is important to leave it for 2-3 days to work on the surface, maybe a bit less if it is obvious that it has worked its' magic. Overall a good product and I am glad I bought and would recommend, BUT it does not always replace a bit of elbow grease.Read full review...

Easy to use
Did notice slight improvement(I could have made a stronger mix)but I used 4/1 ratio in a sprayer and did it a week later over the same areas(slight improvement)perhaps if stronger mix I may notice a drastic improvement?the cost was around £20 for two 5ltr containers(not cheap)but it says it should keep working after you've applied?so keeping my eye on it as weeks go by,I would buy this product again and maybe use it again next year(so as to keep on top of it).Read full review...

You won’t be disappointed
I was rather sceptical about this product as I had read good and bad views, but I decided to give it a go as the moss on my fences was extremely bad. I sprayed it on and was completely shocked that after around 5 days all the moss had gone. An excellent product, ''Did what it says on the tin'' - plastic container in this case. Easy to use, just spray it on with a garden weedkiller spray or use a long handled brush, roller or a normal paint brush, and leave it for a few days and just watch as the algae or moss disappears. Super product easy to use and effective
This works turns the moss yellow in a couple of days and if you leave it for a week just brush it off wit ha stiff broom no need to rake it out as the dead stuff left in the cracks form a good barrier to stop any other seeds getting a grip.
I tried some of the iron powder thats advertised as lawn grass booster and moss killer but it only goof for the lawn do not use it on your patio and or driveway as it s STAINS terribly as its iron based you get like a rusty coloured stain that look terrible so Avoid the powder.Read full review...
